SHIFLETT
Pastor Shiflett was saved in 1976, called to preach in 1993. Pastor Shiflett grew up in the home of a pastor and missionary, serving with his parents in Samoa and Hawaii during the ’80’s. Upon completion of Bible College, he served with his wife and children for over 5 years in South Africa. He served as the pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Taylors, South Carolina from August 2006 until July 2014. He and his wife, Grace have five children. The Shiflett family enjoys singing together and serving the Lord in the various ministries of their local church.
Pastor Shiflett was a building contractor prior to going into the ministry with a successful construction company. He studied and prepared for the ministry at Grace Baptist Institute in Harlem, Georgia, a ministry of Antioch Baptist Church.
When he is not pastoring the flock, Pastor Shiflett enjoys many hobbies such as deer hunting, reading, playing instruments, song writing and spending time with his family.
Pastor Shiflett also preaches campmeetings, conferences and revival meetings as God permits. He has written numerous books, tracts and articles. Several of them have been translated into other languages and a few are being used as Sunday School curriculum and Bible College courses.
